Rain King
O porque los counting crows son la neta.Solo tengo 3 versiones diferentes de Rain King (de como un chingo que al parecer andan por ahi). La de MTV live, VH1 story tellers (ambas del across a wire) y la de un Shim Sham (grabacion en vivo) en la que esta combinada con Round Here. Increiblemente "olvide" quemar la original, del august and everything after... mandenmela a mi gmail, no seal culos.
La letra, solo leida es melancolica y triste y, aunque hay partes que gritan ayuda (como oh mama, why i'm so alone?...), las siguientes combinaciones son mis favoritas:(shes been crying i been thinking)/(shes been lying and i keep sinking)/(shes been dying i been drinking)
Pero lo chingon de esta cancion es que la musica hace que las sienta diferente:

MTV: Hey! date cuenta que no me haces menzo, eh?
VH1: Que pena me das, que intentas hacerme pendejo
Shim: Que triste, por quien me tomas? Crei que me conocias.
Claro que contribuyen para eso tambien las letras "extra"
la de MTV es la que siento menos melancolica, como si, me lleva la chingada, pero que importa

Y ya, sin tanta suplica, pero con mas tristeza, por la obvia mezcla con Round Here (otra rolota) Cant you see my walls crumbling.. could you keep a little light shinning of me? y a fuerza de tanta repeticion de palabras, es como si no te lo pudieras creer.
Pero sobre todo, lo mas ilogico es que no las puse solas en el playlist de mi winamp para ver las diferencias... 'Cause after all this dreaming, i just wanna come back home again.
